I just got this error, I have done no research, just asking here first hoping this is a run of the mill error. Hoping it is something I can fix in a flash... Bike has been sitting with little riding all summer.

Any help or thoughts would be appreciated. Now off to the manual to start my research..

front wheel rotation sensor

Look for a disfigured/bent/closed off tone wheel window. Each window must look the same.
Look for a loose sensor at the fork area, or where the windows pass at that fork side.
Look for a metal piece stuck in the sensor and/or between window and sensor and remove debris.
Look for a resistance number in the book and match values to sensor.

If all pan out as a NPF (no problem found), then it might take a few keyfobs to clear the 'phantom code.' This is a late model and the ECU is programmed to count off so many key turns before it self-clears.

Success, once again, thanks for your help... It really saved me some time...

my ecu flash allows for me to go into 5th gear with the ignition off. then hold the throttle open for 15secs to clear and reset it.

Interesting. So who came up with that combo?
