Ok guys, it's been years since I had a new bike. What do they (dealer) do for this service?, and, if I do myself, does it void the warranty?
Regards, John

it's basically check the main nuts and bolts, oil and filter change and check the chain for adjustment. You can do it on your own just keep the receipt for the parts in case you have any issues. I did my 600 on both the 14R's I had. The oil change is only about 10 minutes you can get to everything without taking a piece of plastic off.
Funny you mentioned this I just did my 600 a few nights ago and still haven't had a chance to ride it yet!

Yea what Phantom said, keep your receipts for the oil and filter and check every bolt you can, no need to pay the dealer an outrageous amount of money for something so easy to do, and this bike is the easiest motorcycle I have ever owned to change oil and filter in over 30 years of changing oil ...
