holeshot ps-3 shifter
01/06/11 11:27 AM

has anyone ever used this holeshot ps-3 shifter on a zx14 or any bike?my biggest fear is buying it and having no where to place the big shifting solenoid that pulls the cable.i really think this could be great a system due to the fact that u don't have deal with air tanks, compressors and bottles.it also has a great price(LESS THAN 500 BUCKS).not trying to advertise here, but trying to see if anyone used this system and their experience with it.

I was at the site, there is no ZX14 product there as far as I can see. C14, yes, ZX14, no.

Post a url please.

The URL is the address of the exact page of the website you want to show us. If you go to holeshot.com and then navigate to the exact page, the url of that page will be up in the top bar on your web browser.

Think I found it for you. The page does not have a separate URL from the site

The homepage of holeshot has a black side bar on the left. mouse down to the ELECTRIC SHIFTERS heading and there are 3 shifters there you can click on and it will open to that document. I see a powershifter 2, PS2 Barrel trigger and a Push button shifter 3.

Click on the link below. Lots of expert ZX-14 drag race guys there. Just come back and share what you learn here. I'd be curious to know what shifter is most highly recommended for the ZX-14.

Put one on my 05 busa fairly easily. Looking at the area on the 14 the shifter might fit under the rear side plastics. I loved mine. Wish I had kept it when I sold the bike.

06 Red, no flies, PC3, Muzzy slipons, braided brake lines, extended 4" and lowered a bit.

I bought one two years ago,and just didn't have the time to fitted on the 14.Due to deployment again.Had to send it back to him.The solenoid still has me puzzled.Since we have a reversed shifter peg,it could be mounted under the nose. That piece of plastic above the front tire fender. That just might be the spot for it.Tried calling Dale Walker, but no answer.Call him again 2mmorrow.Read up on all the testimonys and was pretty impress. Many drag racers LIVE and Die by it.Bruiserman, someone will have to take the plunge,i guess it will be me.I really can't believe no one has tried this product on this forum.Well maybe now since they heard of it.Ok Rook, maybe you will be our leader once again and step up get this shifter mounted on your bike.Lol,just joking, but can you research it more and talk Dale Walker into group price. You are our best negoiater, but i'll still be trying too.Into the frying we go men.

I had one of the Dale Walker shifters onan R1 I drag raced. Worked perfectly once I got it dialed in. And it was easy to dial in. I didn't use it on the ZX14 because of the same reason you posted. The solenoid was too big to fit anywhere. I went to a air shifter using small 9 oz paintball bottles.
