At least the old man can still ride in Feb...In California ...:) We got up to 5100 ft and at that point the road was closed due to snow..The next thousand feet is where the real fun is but my friend was from the City so it was all good for him :)

Supposed to get up in the 60's this Sunday here in southern Illinois.
Gonna get a little ride in to see if my suspension adjustments made any difference since I rode before winter.
For some crazy reason my bike just wouldn't hold a line when turning left ???????????

For what it's worth, had a guy tell me he turned fine one way and the other way was sketchy. I said I was not a suspension or tire guy so I walked over and wanted to see one thing. Sure enough, his fork was way off from the other. Took a few guys to help ballpark it back even. He went back out and it solve the problem.
I set one fork to spec and then float the other fork till I can fell the front axle spin free by hand. I torque the floating fork and recheck for free-spin. I figure that's squared or static-even... closer than reading the top fork levels out of the top crown...
... I mean I'd start somewhere before I'd point to a stepped tire profile, tire pressure, what chrly said, etc.

Hub,
I indeed had that same thing happen to me on my 1198. Don't know how but one fork tube just got a little out of whack compared to the other. I couldn't see any difference in fork tube alignment either. Had the same amounts of fork tube sticking out of the top triple clamp. But I said whet the hell and loosened everything up and tightened back down. Solved the issue.
Figure if I still have the issue I'll do the same on the 14. Although I am dreading it. Looks like I'm going to have to take half of the front end off to get to the lower triple bolts. Also appears Kaw put all of the clip on/handlebar electrical connectors EXACTLY in the way of the upper triple pinch bolts.
As for the front wheel not spinning freely due to uneven fork tubes, I do not have that issue.
So, I guess we'll see.
Thanks for the suggestions.

I will have to look a bit Grn , cant remember off hand. Could not find receipt but almost positive that I bought tehm at Cycle gear earlier this year.99% sure but I paid cash and I don't think he entered my account info. I went to bar ends so I could remove them easily at the strip. I still ride when not racing and I tried riding without mirros..Not cool LOL
