can you block off a dual to make a single?

I was wondering can you "cap" off one side of the dual pipe setup to make it a single? I have muzzys so flow is better than stock but my concern is the turbulence at the x where the split would be caped. make sense? I know others must have thought of this, maybe even a cap off kit? sems as simple as a cap and remove mid pipe and 1 muffler.

Yeah you can do that. I think hub may have even done it at one time or another.

Use a galvanized plumbing pipe end. I forget the size but I doubt it will work on a 14R header. It just fits over the 14 header and you'll need to tighten down with a few hose clamps. Is it worth it? No.
