Michelin Power 3's? Never heard of them...
I have some Michelin PILOT 3 and just love them!
Haven't put a lot of miles on them though, but I've heard they wear real well, as long as you check your air pressure regularly.
I loved my Pilot power 2ct but these are equally as good if not better.

I would at least get a set of them with that gift card, would not suggest 2 sets as the second set won't be as "fresh".

Have you looked at REEVU MSX1 helmets? Nice feature, hopefully others will follow and improve the technology.

J&P sell tire changers? Once you can change your own, you'll only care that they last as long as your oil.

*You will need to get a bigger memory card, mine only came with a 2 GB card.

I would take the Sema SMH10 over the scala if you can.
I just love the SEMA, Google it and read the reviews Vs scala.
No awkward small buttons to play with when your driving and the speaker sound is loud enough when your reving her.

Scala would probably be my choice as well.

One thing you will find out on the Contour camera,*(apart from using to much memory in triple digit speeds in GPS mode )is the sound at anything over 20 mph sucks!(to much wind noise)

Ouch yeah, I hear ya. You'll probably take the bike out in February when you have a warm day in the upper thirties. Why not? Wouldn't be the first time a bike was run and sat for another month before starting again. Mine has sat the last 4 months but I will ride before Winter sets in.
