Sorry about the bike. Sux about the arm too but glad it was not a leg. Hope your back on there soon and maybe a new bike?? Sounds like the bike damage might have been pretty severe.

We lost quite a few riders down in San Antonio from collisions with deer over the years, the whitetails were everywhere. Sorry to hear about your accident, heal quick and ride safe!

I hope you arm heals fast. Many riders don't survive a hitting a dear. At least is at the end of riding season not the beginning. How did you get home?

I posted that when Nate went Down on his zx12 that other like him that will not use a deer wistle are just taking a chance that it wont happen to them I am sorry to hear that you got busted up man some say that deer wistles dont work but they are like 10.00 for two and they are very small I have them on the yamaha and can see the deer move away from the road when I am on my way into work the things just work . you can velcro them on for times when you are out of the city on that back road . Then pull them it you dont want them uglying up your baby I do not have them on the 14 today but after reading your post I will put some on and post pic .I hope you heal fast and well my friend

I found theese pictures on line just to show how they might look
and how small

Thanks guys. The deer whistle thing is kinda funny for me spiecially with working at a body shop. You know how many cars and trucks come in with those on them wrecked?I think the biggest thing is just looking for them.Man I miss riding already.Just clicked over 52,000 on the 14 last week and was hoping for 55,000 before Dec.!!!
