27000 kilometers, all my exhaust valves are too tight, two intake valves are fine.18mm,three are borderline.15mm and three are too tight.13 mm.I guess I ride harder then I thought.Iwas hoping no adjustments would be necessary. At least the bike will be spotless when I put her together

Wait until you clean the clearances in the middle mark and sync the throttle body. Tell me you didn't pick up a few ponies. Did you hear any kind of odd ticks come and go by chance? Catch the JDC thread and ticking noises he is having?

Didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, the last 2 thousand were easy klicks, cold weather ,cold roads.Cam lobes look good no pitting, plugs looked good but I will change them anyway.the motor was clean no oil leaks, but will change valve cover gasket.I had a slight exhaust leak on #1 cylinder so I'll change exhaust gaskets. At 24000km I dynoed at 185,It should be interesting to see if theres any difference on the same dyno.

Well, mine was more a loud clatter, based upon the RPM, like something was double smacking, gently, loosely? not a or tic or tapping like a car tappet/valve. 120 miles today, after last night 30 minute ride, and nothing.

Oil change and lock up check in the AM.

If it were a valve thing, wouldn't it remain steady, or be repeatable?

If I had to guess .I'd first check clutch based on it being the last thing I worked on.I wouldm't rule out cam chain tensioner either
