OK fellas, I want to get a bike to bike/ rider/ passenger system . What works best? We travel 2-up most of the time but usually ride with friends. I'm getting tired of the desperate waving to get the others attention.
Lat me know.

Investigate Cardo systems. Scala Rider makes great units which are based on Cardo technology.
For example, the Schuberth C3 helmet's optional SRC Communications System is also Cardo / Scala compliant. Though not with older versions of Scala Rider units.
You can talk rider to passenger, and to anyone close by with a Cardo-tech unit.
My experience is if one has Scala Rider, its best to stay in the same family as all Cardo implementations are not equal.

starcom make good products.
can get some very good short range bluetooth units now as well
I run a 5 watt UHF radio in my bike, as do the people I ride with.
If you are going to ride and use bike to bike you will need to have a compatible system between each bike, check that someone hasn't already got a system and that you all agree to go in one direction.
None of them are perfect, but most big brands give value for money

Of course, if the rider doesn't know how to turn on bike-to-bike......
I need to read the manual for the Schuberth C3 SRC I have in my helmet, I figured out bluetooth MP3 and GPS so far, but not rider-to-rider over UHF. Its in the manual, I just need to read it, lol.
The folks I ride with use UHF, and CB more than that, even.
