Widest Tire on stock rim.

Could someone tell me what is the widest tire I can put on a stock rim of a 09 zx-14 with out having to do any modifications, or just minor ones.

Rim isn't the issue. The swingarm is. 200 is the widest.

the stock rim is 6" so 200 is the widest you can go although i read somewhere that there are some putting the metzler 210 on stock rims and stock swingarms. to go to a 230 tire youd need a 9" rim and wider swingarm. I have a 200 on mine and distance from tire to inside of chain is roughly 1/4" (inside of chain is closer to tire than swing arm)

You can SAFELY go 10mm over on most rims. Just beware that it will change the tire patch slightly.
