Like the tittle says, am I the only one who rode his 14 today, in Canada? :-)

I was on my way to work today, looking at all the snow in the ditches and side streets thinking "am I the only bike on the road today". I figured that it can't be with nicer street conditions closer to Vancouver than out here in the Fraser Valley. Then it dawned on me that I may be in fact the only 14 on the road. Not just in the greater Vancouver area but with winter's grip up north, maybe even in Canada.

ps. I've played goalie my whole life and took some pucks to the head.

OH well be careful then. I recall an old member---Kansas City. Kansas if if I recall. He rode on knobbies and he still dropped his bike a few times.

Anyone remember Dataway?

My bikes are stored and prepped for winter surgery during winter. I can see no other course if the temp drops below 45 F for more than two weeks.

In the process of moving to Reno NV, and facing this dilemma myself. Do not think I will be able to park it for months waiting for it to warm up. Thinking as long as there is not ice, etc., I will ride. Probably going to be investing in some electric gear too.

No bike today :-( Too much ice on the roads. Maybe next week and yup, careful as always.

Even when the snow/ice melts, you need to watch out for sand on the road and it only gets worse later in the season after the frequent sandings build up...
