I have an 08 and was just told that the 07 wiring harness is the same. This I do believe, but I was also told that they were different by a local mechanic... Does anyone know if this is true?

According to bike bandit schematics
2007 # 26031A
2008 # 26031
Not sure what the A is for.

I have a 2007 zx 14 and just ordered a new wiring harness the right hand controls have 7 of 8 slots used. The new harness has six on the male side does anyone know how this wires up do I just add an extra wire the part number matches but the new harness is for a bike with an immobilizer and mine doesn't have one

I just wanted to bump you to the top but the obvious answer is to get the correct wiring harness for your year of 14. I mean, if you're getting an OEM harness, does the other end reach to everything it needs to go to and is it the correct gauge/strands of wire? I mean you can try it and obviously you need another wire to complete it but I have no idea if it will be the right kind of wire to make it work. Basically, I'd start with the right harness or else you're on a journey of self discovery. I hope you figure it out brutha because I have a wrecked Gen1 that had every connector that exists forcibly pulled.
