or is it really cool that we ride the equivalent of the Buggati Veyron? Some times it hurts to keep smiling!

Omega,
Could not agree more.

When I had my 2005 Honda VFR800 I was so happy.
Never thought I would need to change to another bike or brand.
Then my brother bought a new Gen2 ZX-14R in 2012.
My very first ride of that bike was a complete motorcycle revelation.
Right there and then I knew I had to get one.
I have since owned a Gen1 and now have a Gen2 and like you, when it comes to these bikes I have never stopped smiling.
The big difference between the Viffer and the 14R is I now know I wont find a better bike for me than the 14R.

Ride hard, fast and safe my ZX-14 brothers...

Yes the ZX14R is a most awesome motorcycle -
Having owned nothing but Kawasaki's and 'cheated' with friend's bikes such as the R1, GSXR etc - there is no other choice - you are not alone -
Even my dealer said he would rather have (and he does) a ZX14R than the new H2 -

Hmm. I had never thought of it that way Omega...but yes VERY cool. I want an H2 also, but do not see it happening in the foreseeable future. Fun to dream though.

I have two other bikes that beg for my attention and I truly love as well, one is a British beauty, a Triumph Daytona and the other is an Italian pepperoni pizza, a Ducati 999. While the Triumph is an old friend and very worthy and the Ducati feels like a wild animal, always sure to please my every whim....only my ZX-14R feels H U M A N. Yes, that's right...human! I adorn her with a Joe Rocket magnetic tankbag, add a Kriega bag or three on her tail section and off I go in great company. She will talk to me, comfort me and love me as I love her. SHe is kind and wicked at the same time. I love her. SHe loves me. It's a match made in heaven!!!

....I forgot to mention that she loves long rides, walks on the beach and then more long rides. And she is happy when I dish it out to her. I'm telling you, it's a love affair in which everyone comes out happy, especially my loving wife who actually cheers me on!!
