The bikes are put away for the winter. Did I say how much I hate winter. Put the 14 up on paddock stands, with stabilizer and a battery tender. All covered up. Going to miss riding 'till next year. Did I say how much I hate winter...

Mine have been stored for a month already. Yeah, it sucks. What else sucks is having them in a storage unit with no heat and no power. It doesn't exactly encourage me to do a lot of work on them.

That sucks. I have nothing to complain about. I can ride 12 months. Mind you, not every day, it does get chilly.
But what does suck is this stupid broken foot, and delay of parts (stupid COVID) that is causing me to miss the best part of the year, FALL. Foot cannot take the pressure in the arch.
Two more weeks and back in the saddle. If all my parts get here.
Still plenty of outlet brackets available, for free, as a good will gesture in these stressful times.
Just let me know.
So far I have sent them as far a Western Australia.

Going to be a nice day here in KY with high 60's and sunny. Perfect riding weather. I was out yesterday for a couple of hours on the 14R and it was mid 70's. Putting the 12R up for the winter and riding the Gold Wing today.
This 14R which I intend to keep a street bike is so near perfect I don't need to do much to make it perfect for me. It came to me with a Akra full 4/1 exhaust and Ohlins suspension. I had it flashed by Ivan before I brought it home where I installed the lower foot pegs Heli & bar spacers that came with it from the guy I bought it from in Georgia. I am still waiting on some parts to install the steering damper I have from a previous bike and some other parts I am getting from several guys on this forum and the quick shifter which I bought. I am fortunate that I have a heated garage and while winters are not warm here they are mild compared to up north. Look forward to sharing on this site over the winter.

We also get shite Winter weather over here, usually interspersed with some less cold, dryer days when we can ride. Just got to be aware of the salt they chuck on the roads in abundance and be scrupulous with your cleaning routine.
Bought another new bike recently so have even more incentive to ride this year.

Rode mine to work this am. 57 degrees when I left but should be low 70’s on the trip home. May take the long way to add some excitement.
