I weighed my bike tonight on bathroom scales. Actually, it only takes one bathroom scale. You'll have enough trouble reading one of those without worrying about two. I put the bike up on 1 inch planks which were level with the one inch scale. Rolled it forward onto the scale to get the read on the front. Put the scale in back and rolled it backwards to get the rear. It was a digital scale that held the reading for a few seconds. You can't see the display while holding the bike up so it was a bit tricky to set the bike down before the display shut off. I held the bike balanced vertically. Took ten weights and averaged them, the weight was different every time I did the front. The rear was almost a hundred percent consistent for some reason but the front varied by as much as two pounds. I'll try this again tomorrow but here's what I got:
Stock, No OEM parts removed, no aftermarket parts installed. Dealer prepped with fluids. Oil and filter just changed with 4.1 liters of oil. Fuel tank filled with bike on side stand until gasoline touched the left side of the splash shield. Key in ignition and license plate installed with steel license plate bolts.
Front: 302.16 lbs
Rear: 298.0 lbs
Total: 600.16 lbs
Pretty interesting that the front and rear are almost exactly the same weight. Id have guessed the front would be somewhat heavier than the rear.
