At least I got a lil' ride in yesterday.
Got to the second hairpin on the backside of Chief Joesph and decided to call it here.After riding by at least 30+ deer and than the ice I was good!!!!

Sux. That is the worst. nothing here yet.
You wait for your bike to get a few years old so you don't mind riding in the salt but by that time, it has too many expensive after market parts. The roads already are getting treacherous from cold and dried up leaves.

Ya..I used to get out and ride in the COLD sh*& when everyone else was buttoned up for the Winter.I don't do that here anymore.Not really worth the risk of sliding.Maybe...once in a while...but not like when I FIRST had my 14.It was on then...seemed like almost nothing stopped me.I decided the 'macho deal' was gonna get my purty bike ALL MESSED UP sooner or later.Afterall...I did want to be ready for the NEXT season without having to do a rebuild!Certainly only takes a few leaves to put ya on yer azz....Came real close once or twice.5 mph no less.Sheesh.

We had the effects of that N'easter that dumped a ton of snow from Hagerstown, MD up into the North East. Some folks (thankfully not around here) are just finally getting power back.
Snows all gone. I'm wondering if I'll be the owner of a new C14 and unable to ride it home from the dealer, or if the weather gods will clear the roads for me to take it home.
I'm going to wear my snowmobile suit, lol.
