Trying to remove trapped air in the clutch M/C. Basic bleed method and Mityvac not working.
I'd like to try removing the lever and pushing in the piston rod assembly with a dowel or something that won't scratch anything. Maybe pushing it in "manually" will allow the piston to go in a bit further and remove the air I believe is trapped in there.
I've never had a 14's M/C apart.
If I push the rod in and it DOES go FURTHER than the lever would push it, can I damage anything? Is it safe to push it in until I feel an obvious resistance? Appreciate any advice or experience you have.
