Help for friend
06/01/14 12:22 PM

I have a friend here in Austin Texas that needs help.
We both bought zx14s at the same time. His problem is
that he turned his traction control off and almost lost
his bike in a wheelie. Does anyone know if you can download
a child setting into the traction control?

? Turn it back on? Put it on the #3 setting and the front wheel will never leave the ground again.

It will still go 12 in one if you power wheelie it in first and second but you can stay WOT and it will set the bike down nice and easy.

Spend a few extra bucks by lowering and stretching those beast.Just like taming a wild horsey.Doesn't have a noticeable stretch, but seat time is your biggest asset. You have to become a "Horse Whisperer"lol.Don't know about a download for that, but seat time will help. Become one with her and you got her tamed.

Yes...it defaults back to "1" every time you shut the bike down.Switching it to "off"(while stopped and idling) will totally disable the KTRC.

No need to be ashamed, my friend, of being risk-adverse. We all manage risk in our own way, with some finding more risk to be acceptable. I am self-insured for comp and collision. That fact very much colors my risk management decisions with this machine.

Omega2k, I'm the same way. For some reason I don't want to lift that front wheel. Older I get the more conservative I get.
