KTRC and Power Relationship.

Just interested.
If a 14R has 100% straight line acceleration power available with KTRC turned off, what percentages are lost when KTRC is switched to 1, 2 or 3?

The larger consideration is traction dependent. If you always have traction then it matters not which KTRC intervention level you've selected because it'll never engage.

Temper that with the knowledge that KTRC is somewhat predictive: it doesn't necessarily wait for a negative traction feedback. If it's set to 3 and you whack WOT in 2nd gear it'll trim fuel, timing, and if there's tire slip, spark.

As far as percentage of power reduction, I don't think there is a set answer: it's situation dependent.

That's not quite true Hagrid. The KTRC system is proactive and can start to pull power BEFORE the bike actually loses traction or lifts the front wheel. It SEVERELY neuters power at the drag strip. KTRC 1 will hurt a 1/4 pass by several tenths.

I thought that's what I was trying to say?

Maybe you're saying it better than I did.

The ktrc system is proactive and can start to pull well before the bike loses traction.
There you go. I said it best.

Be honest I ride in Fuck Off. Never ever had it in any Tc mode. So this is great FYI.

Fuck off here too. Rode one time in TC1,and never again. I summoned one wheel mode and it told me to fuck off,so I did from there on out.

I track tested it to prove that TC wasn't the reason that I was so much quicker than everyone else.
