A few years ago, I was torn between a BMW S1000rr and the new, at the time ZX14R. I contemplated the two for months, and only after test riding the S1K ( I was unable to test the ZX14R in CO ), I promptly bought it. For two years I hardly rode the S1K - even though it is comfortable in regards to liter bikes, after about an hour, I didn't want to ride it anymore. I only accumulated 2400 miles in 2 years owning it ( still own it ).
I recently won an eBay auction for a 2013 ZX14R ABS in green. Green wasn't my first choice (2012 Blue was), but it has most certainly grown on me. I went down to AZ and picked up the bike. Only rode it around the neighborhood ( should've spend a day or three there as the weather was 60* and perfect) before loading it up and heading back.
Bike felt AWESOME! I can't wait to do some serious riding on it!
Ordered a Cortech Super 2.0 18L tank bag, some Sidi On Road boots, and am considering the SW-Motech Bags Connection tail bag. Mainly because I like the way it looks on the bike, as well as it seems to be a quality bit.
Also need to wire up my Garmin Montana GPS. Got some work to do!
Well, without further ado...
