I have a couple hints. You can remove the radiator bolts without removing the hoses. The radiator will slide foreward a little which gives you plenty of room. If you take your new gaskets and squeeze them, just a little, they will get a little out of round. Then when you place them in the mounting hole they will stay in place. Without the little squeeze they'll just keep falling out. I've done this a few times.
For the flies, I ran the engine for 10 minutes before moving the tank. I was ready to heat the new screwdriver but thought I'd just check the fit first. With good downward pressure they came right out! Heating the engine was all it needed. 5 minute job after that. The magnetic tip on the screw driver kept the screws from falling. I've heard some horror stories about fly removal. I guess I was lucky and have good technique. But I thought it should be known that it's not always a big deal.
Good luck,
sharkey
