ROLL ON APPLICATION
07/16/14 10:36 AM

A roll on is only useful when applied to the armpit. A roll on battle in my opinion determines the best fragrant deodorant. On the streets ROLL ONS display zero talent and race-man-ship.

I like my Old Spice Roll on.

As for "roll on battles" on the street as a measuring instrument of motorcycle talent. Let's just leave it with Gillette and Old Spice.

I use the stuff on sale in the 3 packs at Walmart. Only gives ya a rash the first few years ya use it. Then it's fine. That's about the toughest roll-on I have ever faced.

I disagree. I think roll ons are very fun, fairly safe (giant asterisk goes here), and about the most honest street test of two bikes that can be had. I like the fact that it takes the skill or human element out of it because I don't care if I can ride better than you, I just want to know if my bike is faster than yours. Yes Fast is a big word that means lots of things to lots of people. Fast to me happens to mean roll ons that start at 30-60 mph and end just north of 100 mph sometimes 120 on a good stretch of road.

Why don't i care if I can ride better than you? Well knowing that information assuming it could be attained is not really going to make me a better or worse rider. However, if I roll on your ass on the way to our destination, you might have to buy the first round....... Just for the record, zx14 and 14r's are faster than my D675. I don't want anybody thinking I was trying to imply that I roll on hyper sports, but my bike is pretty fast if I catch you sleeping.

I'll have to disagree too. Roll ons on the street will take out some of the rider skills needed to launch a bike from a stand still. It will also see who has bigger balls to twist that grip and hold on! Roll ons if done right will tell what power you bike is making at a certain gear and rpm. Now if your a big guy say over 200 plus racing a light weight at 150 you gonna loose. .rofl. regardless. But its all about fun and bragging rites. riders on even bikes at a given gear and rpm, and pinning that throttle its all about which bike is pulling harder and making more power
. If you really way do a serious race do a 1/2 mile or 1 mile race from a standing start and see what your made of? Lets face it at 1/4 mile racing you have to have some serious skills at launching the bike off the line.
