Do you ever see this?

I saw it and I didn't click it fearing it was a a virus.

It blocked mt Mac for a while but later that evening (now) I was able to post.

Just a friendly word of caution. IDK if it's legit or not.

I see it everyone I open the sire with a fresh window.

It's a service that I installed that helps us keep spammers out. It checks the location of the IP address of the person coming to the site. Several countries have been blocked. It doesn't let them in to the site. -bg

The only image I see on the right hand side of my screen is the one about "Protected & Accelerated by Incapsula.

The interesting thing about those Captcha's is your actually solving
a problem for the developer.

Those 2 images are images that a OCR program could not decipher the numbers
and letters. After X amount of people enter the same thing from the images
it will take it as the correct numbers and letters/words and update their database.

Most of the time it is addresses for Google from their roving cars. Google hires the developers service.

The developers idea was to take the wasted time people use to fill out
Captcha's and do something useful with it. It adds up to some ungodly amount of
time total people spend world wide enter info in Captcha's

I thought was interesting.

Sorry... I wasn't paying attention. I have 7 tabs open and each one has a CAPTCHA to fill out.

ok well if i see it again I'll fill it out. I avoid clicking stuff if I don't know what or why. i thought it might be a trick.

From the copy, it sounds like computers with viruses trigger the captcha.

these knuckleheads scammers seem to to still get through that encryption screen..happen the other day..more security is needed.

I simply clicked on SUBMIT when I came across that page and next page up was the Forum..

For that type of Captcha there is no right or wrong entry.

The developer takes all entries.

How about a layer of security that prevents Will here from monopolizing with posts to every thread? Twice in the last week. Nice

Haha. I noticed that too. Just figured he was trying to get some action going in the forum. It seems to of helped. Usually if I look and there's no new posts I just go to another forum... Forbid going to the off topics section and reading the same thing every day!!
