They have to be doing it intentionally, I think they loosen their drain plug and drive until the engine quits. I followed one black, six inch wide trail for almost seven miles before he ran it out of oil and probably cratered his motor. You have to cross the trail twice on almost every corner, once going in and then again coming out and it takes me forever to trust that traction is still there in those turns. This kind of stuff drives me crazy!

couple years back, local hick poured diesel or oil , i cant remem around circuit of local road race,luckily was spotted and cleaned up , id say that hick would be pushing up daisys if hed been caught

That is something I hadn't thought of but may explain Rook, there a lot of trucks out on these back roads of late.

It is maddening and dangerous if you intend to push the pace a bit when they dump this oil right in the middle of a corner.

Crap on the road is a major risk around LA also. All of the POS Gardner trucks leak shit everywhere and there's no vehicle safety inspection only the smog scam. But, every year some angry cagers does intentionally pour oil on the good bike roads. It get posted quick, but usually after someone crashes because of it. Few yrs ago guy went down on Glendale Mountain Rd, went over the edge, down about 1000ft and died.

Crap on the road, including dust,dirt and rocks because it never rains anymore is THE reason I drive like an old lady.

Several twisty roads here had oil poured on them in corners. One time they even left the bottles behind. And there was at least 2 instances where someone strung a cable across a road at neck height.

That is some serious stuff, if someone is killed, I'd say that's Murder 1. You can't just take the law into you're own hands.

Should be reported to the authorities especially if there's evidence like empty cans. I doubt law enforcement would like to be traveling down the road and run into a big patch of oil either.
