Well, took a ride out to the coast to Point Reyes. Nice breakfast and we hop on and get going up Hwy 1. And, EVERY time traffic was bunched up it was because of a frigging Prius!!!! I swear, the Prius is replacing the Volvo as the most hated car! so, is it just me or are they clogging up your favorite roads too?

I thought I was the one only that thought that way about them damn things. So definitely not just you. I got held up behind one in I-5 going to Redding this weekend. Wanted to nuke the !@#$er. Actually tried to speed up so I could not get around him. Of course he was not successful.He was in the number one lane, doing about 55. Speed limit is 70. Showed him my brake light. :)

ooboy-- I don't get it. whenever i am really riding carefully to avoid exceeding the speed limit, i get passed by a Prius. It is embarrassing. people in Prius' go faster than me on my 14.

I was on a group ride the other day and got passed by one doing 90 I was like WTF I had no idea it could go that fast!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have also had my issues with the Prius or more accurately, the driver of the Prius! Subaru Outbacks are also trouble and these two have definately replaced the Volvo as the cars most likely to be purchased by "head up their ass" drivers. In NY, seems to be the cars that the dolphin humping/tree huggers crowd gravitate towards. Remember, any cage with an ass behind the wheel is a very dangerous thing!

Prius - I loved Toyota for the Supra but they lost me with this abomination. Only rich people worried about how green they look (hippy set) would want one, and the best part is they drive them with the pedal to the floor making any gas savings NIL and further showing their arrogance.

Any red hued Minivan (esp. a Chrysler)- evil incarnate. need I say more?

Full size Dodge Ram trucks- I call these people 'Ram fuckers' (Super Troopers) and the bigger the truck the bigger the asshole behind the wheel. These shit heads wish and think they are behind a cross between a 1969 Dodge Super Bee and a Catapillar Front end loader. They also tailgate as if it wasn't gonna take them a city block to stop their rusty POS!

Guess the Prius has replaced the old VW bugs and vans, at least for going slow.
When I was younger every time traffic slowed you knew it was either a cop or a friggin' VW ahead. Still see an older VW van now and then on my trips and they just keep puttin'. Kinda like that tortoise and the hare thing.
But sometimes they don't get there. Years ago we'd go to Dodger games up the Stadium Way entrance and about once or twice each season the backed up traffic would cause a VW to catch fire. You'd be in line, see smoke, and say "there goes another VW". They burn real good.
