Been wanting a 14 for a long time. Almost bought one this Spring but paid all my loans off instead.

A friend of mine that owns a salvage yard made me a deal on parting out a 06 model 14. I will give me a chance to dig into one.

The bike was hit hard in the front and the forks and plastic are trash.
the frame was snapped behind the steering head. Must have hurt.

Sounds like a challenge. Oh well, no hurry, the Gen2 has been out for 3 years. By the time you get it running, there might be a Gen3 about ready to come out. I like this idea of living in the past. Who needs the newest thing when all you need to do is wait a few years and it's yours cheap?

I am not going to try and get this bike on the road. I have a friend that has a 14 and he will be at the Vintage Bike days in Ohio. I need to sell a couple of bikes before I buy another one. My shop is full.

Oh you bought the 14 for parts? Wel glad to have you aboard. Hope to pick up some wrenching tips from you.

I got the bike to part out. They don't bring much in parts but I have made a little bit. I have kept the engine complete and all the components to start and run it.
I really want to travel out West and want a bigger bike.
