I predicted on another forum a month ago that within two years all high end sportbikes would come with OEM lithium iron batteries straight from the mfg. In order to stay weight competitive. I was way wrong apparently, the new ZX-10R already has one and it's reported to be tiny, about the same size as a Shorai race pack. Looks like we may have been ahead of the curve this time.

Hmmmm....I guess I was wrong again, I was talking to a buddy this afternoon that just bought an '11 and he told me he pulled the pack and it was a tiny lithium. OK, now I'm embarrassed, I guess the lesson learned here is next time confirm before putting it in print.

As far as weight goes, If I lay off the cookies, I can save $100.. maybe more...
