I'm about to strectch and lower the bike in about a week. I'm wondering if anyone has stretched their bike and had to relocate their license plate due to the tire being too close to it. I know it depends on how much I stretch it and how much I lower it but I was hoping maybe someone could tell me "yes you'll probably have to" or "I didn't have any problems" or whatever the case may be. Interested to see what problems or situations anyone has ran into and what their fixes for the problem were. Thanks

I always see the license plate mounted to the swing arm by a special bracket. I've never seen any other option.

yea I've seen those and they don't look bad but I'm hoping I can get away without having to relocate it so I don't have to spend the extra money. lol

Like you said just depends on how far your going out with the tire, 4 inches you may be able to get away with but more than that your gonna be on your swingarm with it.

Some states do not let you invert the plate nor hang it off your swing arm - so check this. Over hear our plate must be illuminated by a white light!

Yep same hear but you can't invert it leagally, just depends on the cop.

Just glue it to the back of the jacket you wear while riding, cops shouldnt have prob with that...well maybe..
