Can somebody tell me what parts I need to convert my 06 from a 2 seater to a solo?
What's needed beside the seat cowl?
Thanks

The cowls fit the stock seat, along with a couple aftermarket brands, and bolt to it with 4 fasteners.
Not sure that anything else is needed...

Thanks, I think it fits the Connie and Corbin but won't fit my Sargent, I will have to buy a different seat!

The cowl fit my Corbin but will not fit the Sargent dual touring seat.
No idea about a Connie seat but I doubt it.
I just had a custom Sargent made from my stock seat and sent them the cowl to be sure it would work.

You might consider picking up a used ZX-14 seat off of Ebay. Remove the vinyl and cut the edges just like a 14r seat...maybe just cut away the whole passenger foam to make a nice "lunch box" area. Lightest seat you can get.
(lunch box for NOS or something else cool!!)

Thanks for the help guys. That's the info I needed! The stock seat is no bueno for my bunos lol
I'm going to see if I can have the Sargent seat modified or splurge on a Corbin. I do like the fact that the Corbin is slimmer. It should be better for spirited/track riding.

I saw a solo seat/cowl combo that had the foam and cover eliminated behind the rider area, but still had the base for latching. The resultant hollowed out area was being used for storage. No idea as to whether the storage could be accessed without removing the seat and unbolting the cowl.

There was a manufacturer who made a ZX-14 trunk lid/seat cowl conversion...I could almost swear I saw that. Same company that made the little doughnut pillion backrest, if I'm not mistaken.
If so, there would be a bit of room on top of the pillion seat or a lot more if you hollowed that area of foam out.

Did not read the whole thread....don't know if this is in production anymore. Manufacturer is listed in the thread somewhere, I'm sure.
PUT A COUPLE RALLY STRIPES DOWN THE MIDDLE AND IT WOULDN"T LOOK SO OOOGLY! just the thing for aerodynamic touring though!!
