Hi, Rook.

I'll have to look into this.

It seems useless to have to look up the picture you just uploaded and select it, because you can't get to the point of making the selection until you do an upload, and you're probably wanting to select the picture you just uploaded. Unless I'm miss-understanding something.

I'm thinking we can get rid of the image selection after an upload altogether. Does this make sense? -bg

That would work.

BG, I do not know that we are thinking the same thing. What I and the others mean is that our collection has grown too large and we are unable to trim it. It becomes difficult to find the pic we want if we need to repost it to another thread cusz there are bazillion tiny thumnails. Sometimes I accidentally upload an image a second time, forgetting it was there in the first place....or maybe I was unable to find it after the upload cuz there are so many there to look at--so thinking the uload failed, I uploaded it a second time---or god help me even a third time.

The site's photo collection is convenient for pics that are posted often. It also makes very large, nice images on the forum here. However for a large collection, a site like photobucket is a lot better cuz it can be organized into diff albums and such so you can find what you were looking for.

...so it would be nice to keep the photo posting function here AS IS but much more useful if we could delete those pics that are just sitting there cluttering the collection. I wouldn't ask that you try to build in the organizational features of photobucket. For extensive collections, we should just go to photobucket and copy back to our post.

.....it is fun to look back on all the weird pics I have uploaded here though.. even if I never post them again lol

I'm thinking we can get rid of the image selection after an upload altogether. Does this make sense? -bg

That would work.

...except it doesn't alleviate the problem of developing a much too large to manage collection when the time comes that you want to post that pic to another thread. I'm thinking pics like our bikes that we post over and over. A way to delete images ourself would be most useful IMHO. The pics you want to stay can stay for reposting.

I guess you could just limit your site collection to photos that you know you will post often and load the rest on photobucket. I'm sure many of us have already overloaded our site collection, though. To late to be conservative now. Mine drops down like a whole page. lol

I think I understand. I won't change anything without further consideration. Thanks. -bg
