If the 14 didn't come out I'd still be on my ZX-12R. I really thought I loved that bike, till I got the 14 that is!!

I would just keep riding my zooted up ZRX 1200R. 'nuff said

Probably the old ZX-11. It looks dated now but what a great bike.

I was one lousy salesman away from a Busa before I got the 14. I consider them equals in most areas. I'd definitely be riding an Hayabusa if the 14 didn't exist.

still have my other bikes (zrx12 z1r rd350) but would probably be looking at a monster or bmw

Whom the winner is for me would be cash waiting for the, 'world's fastest.' I want fender fly past me that was close. There are poor drivers no matter WOT. There are more safe bike riders that know how the road works.

I've never been on a safer bike that stops better or moves faster from a fender is ONE SAFE BIKE. I have [photo] skid mark(s) and bowel movements as if you drank the water to prove it.

The 12R definatly, better handling than a 'Busa, and better looking.

I'd say a Zx10 or a Gixxer 1000....

I would be back on a Busa. Owned an '05 and loved it.

I would probably have an 04 zx-10 and a KLR for dualsport riding. I just can't ride an ugly bike and to me nothing much worse looking than a busa. Love the performace, but have always hated the look.

Im 6'1 and its hard to find a fit . Im too close to 300LBS anyway so I need a bit more room and the ZX14 is as sporty as I want to get . I love the power and the height of seat to pegs as this is a big bike . Just ask someone that rides a one liter and they think this is huge LOL but it does most all of it well

With out the 14, I'd still be on my old Blackbird. That was one wonderfully dependable bike but I still like the 14 more. The 14 is a bit more comfy, has better suspension and much stronger brakes. The power comparision is major, with the advantage all to the 14, but the XX's engine was smoother. The Blackbird had slightly better wind protection but the 14 has a better ergonomic feeling with the bars(with genmars). Both bike put out a decent amount of heat. The XX would let me stash a little something in the tail which the 14 won't.

Overall, I really like my 14 and I don't miss the XX very much anymore.

I was looking at the Busa and/or ZX14, and picked ZX14. If ZX wasn't out, it would have been a Busa.

Busa if I couldn't find a super clean 12R.

Heh, Thats three Blackbird owners in this thread so far (including me) that have finally found a bike worthy of the upgrade :)

I really loved my B-Bird, but (imo) the ZX14 has it beat.

I would also still have been on my old Blackbird. My ZX-14 is more powerful, has better brakes and more modern suspension, but I really loved the old Bird. That engine felt like it was lubricated on honey & cream instead of Motul 300V, and the build quality on the CBR1100XX remains second to none.

zx12R, It had a little vibration but man that thing was fast!

G2 busa. The world would be the same.

I came off of a '03 Blackbird as well, I would still have it if it were not for the zx. As mentioned the xx motor was so smoothe it was almost unbelievable.
