2010 ZX-14
03/06/11 6:34 PM

Can I get a little input on what I can expect to wheel and deal against at the dealership? I am looking at a couple different 2010's new and I wonder what range I should expect to get the bike OTD, less tax and registration. I will be buying it from out of state, so I will tackle those necessary charges when I get back. I just don't want to get taken to the cleaners. What is a fair price?

Thanks in advance.

Hey Sako

Welcome to the Forum!!!

All I can say on this subject is You really need to shop around, every dealer is different. I picked up my 2007 leftover at the end of 2008 for $8000 by the time they added the tax and extended warranty OTD was about $9600. I have been toying with the idea of trading in my bike and picking up the Red 2010 model and have seen it for $13000 and change and about 5 more exits south on the jersey turnpike have seen it for $9600...so it all depends on the dealer and how much profit they are looking to rack in. Good Luck on the Hunt!!!

Sako,

I 2nd the words of SnuffyZX I see all kinds of prices on 14 from 1 year leftovers too 2 year leftovers too brand new ones. It's going to depend on where you live to how far you are willing to go and get it. I know that there is someone here who went 4 hours each way to get his.

That's my 2 cents.

Good luck with your search...

That would be me... The end of October I picked up a leftover '08 for $7500 (no freight or setup). It was $8200 and change total, OTD (including tax, title fees and tabs). 2010's, 'round here, are around $9500 (almost $11k OTD).

GL with the search, sako.

great price. I got a left over 08 last spring for $8600 including delivery and setup. This did not include taxes or title. I drove to a dealership in in WI that advertised on ebay. The local dealer what $13,400 for a 2010.
