Just slip-ons with baffles in. Just a slight bit better throttle response but look way better than the stock chrome rocket boosters!

Man those really do look good. I like the performance of my full Muzzy system, but it just doesn't have the deep rumble that I love from the dual exhaust. Thinking about gutting and ceramic coating my stock exhaust and going with a set of slipons.

Very nice Black. It looks like you have the suppressor inserts in, yes? How do they sound? Do you have the same or better low end torque that you had with the stock can's?

Those look like they are made for the bike. I've gotten really nervous about upgrading my exhaust. There are some new laws that seem to vary depending on who you ask...

My local Kawasaki dealer says the police are targeting motorcycles with aftermarket exhausts. Eventually I will be looking for something that appears to be stock and hella quiet.

According to the Abu Dhabi Police, owners of modified vehicles, even including those who’ve changed only their exhaust system, have been put on notice as part of a new “awareness campaign” that will crack down on aftermarket-tuned cars.

The initiative will be launched on June 10, and is likely the result of the recent antics perpetrated by the runaway motorist whose accelerator jammed at 160 kph on the Abu Dhabi-Al Ain highway, leading to 45 minutes of police-escorted mayhem. The “defective” car, which was eventually handbraked to a stop, was said to be modified for speed.

According to Gulf News, those caught with “unauthorised” additions or other modifications that may “cause harm to themselves or others” will be given a Dhs 900 fine, while motorists who have modified their exhausts will be fined Dhs 500, and those who have modified their engine “without the correct licence” will be issued a Dhs 400 fine. Drivers who are caught will have their vehicles impounded for a month.

Police say these illegal modifications are a danger due to bad workmanship, leading to dangerous situations such as accidents and fires. Incidentally, Sharjah Police have initiated a similar crackdown on modified cars already, the only difference being that they will not return the confiscated cars. Modified cars are technically banned in Dubai and other Emirates already, but many get around the rules one way or another.

How is the volume with the inserts?

Inserts are really good for keeping the noise down while still having that deep rumble.

The exhaust tone is deep. I took it for a ride without the baffles and it was too loud for me. With baffles in at idle it is deep but not loud. It is louder than stock but no where near as loud than without baffles. I would estimate 25 to 30% louder than stock exhaust. The bike feels like it has slightly more botom end coming off red lights and driving in lower RPM`s feels like it has more grunt. I am happy with them so far and the quality is top notch.

Thanks, I would run them with baffles. Plenty of power and weight loss for what I'm after.

Those look great. I just bought some yosh TRC stainless dual slipons that look like new off ebay for $227. They also have the inserts which to me are just as quiet as stock but a different tone. If I want loud I just take out 1 screw and remove the insert. I saved 15 lbs by switching from stock mufflers. If you like quiet, yosh is the slip on for you.
