Bike Insurance "will not" cover you at a track event.
You will get people that say, oh but I knew a guy who knew
a guy that crashed at a track day and his bike was covered or
track days are considered training and training is covered.
I looked quite a bit and have not found "any" company that will
cover a track day at least officially.
And if someone jumps in and says theirs does, great, post the part
of the policy that claims to cover track days and provider.
No one has ever posted that yet, I'd like to find an insurance
company that does. I'm not even worried that much about the bike,
but I have questions on liability.
Here's the part in my current Progressive policy, that says "no" we
do not.

In Europe lots of insurance companies sell track day insurance for a track day
and is very reasonable, why there's no US insurance companies that do the same,
I don't know.
*** I might add that I think organizers that hold AMA, NHRA, events have
to have insurance that covers entered participants for liability claims, but
not sure about smaller events, TNT's, track days, etc. What happens if you
rear end someone or dump a bunch of oil on the track and they have to take
one of those fancy helicopter rides for $40k or something even worse.
