03/19/14 11:25 AM

I want to change my speedo gauge from Mph primary to Kmph. I couldnt find any online, Is there anywhere that sells them? I'm fine with aftermarket parts.

Don't our bikes have the ability to change from MPH to KPH already? I forget how to do it, I'm sure someone will chime in but I think it's just pushing some buttons.

It's in section 16-66 of the user manual.

Basically, you press and hold both buttons to get into the menu. Then use one button to scroll to mileage and hold the mode other button for 2 secs to change the value from mpg to km/L.

It would just be a matter of installing a SpeedoHealer and recalibrating. The mph speedo goes to 190 mph. You could use that and just as long as it was recalibrated, you would have a speedo that would go to 190 kph. After that, the needle would be buried. If you need a speedo that shows the full 300 kph, you would need to buy an aftermarket face and install inside the gauge. I have a 320 kph face and a 200 mph face with my Illumiglow gauges.

you can recalibrate for any units of measure you want as long as you have a Speedohealer and a gage face laid out with even increments. From there, it'd be up to you to figure what percentage -/+ you need to make the gage accurate. If you are switching to kilometers, another vehicle with speedo onboard to pace you would work. A GPS would be best.

works good for the multifunc fuel economy display but not gonna do squat to change your speedo. You need a SH, new speedo face and a GPS.

Heh, yeah I was just thinking of the setup in the options. Didn't consider the actual speedo on there... good point!
