insurance

alrighty, I know this question has been brought up before. I have to ask though.
what do you guys (and gals) pay for insurance? and with what company/state.
My brother who rides a 2008 hardley says he pays about 300/yr for his bike. I thought
he was either misquoting me or confused. We are both in Florida, he is 50, I'm 42. His engine
is comparable in size (cc's) to the 14. He uses GEICO. I went online and checked it out, and
sure enough, his quote is pretty accurate. My bike, on the other hand, (2008 ZX14) was about 90 bucks
per month (full coverage). This is comparable with the rate I already have with State Farm.
(I was told by a State Farm rep that they go by engine displacement, not type of bike)
anyway, just thought I'd get some feedback from you all on deals, etc.
thanks,
mikegolf

29, clean record = $843 /yr full coverage on 07 14 through progressive.... looks like I'll be giving State Farm a call!

By comparison I almost bought a 2005 Vulcan 2000 LTD (2053cc engine) and my rate would have been about $250 / yr for same coverage... I think they are screwing me over here with the 14 rates! LOL
