2009 zx14 403 miles. I paid $8250 this last July/2013 after hip replacement restrictions were done. I was the 3rd owner. Other 2 really thought they would kill themselves on the bike. How about you?

2nd owner of a 2008, shop I bought It from said the first owner was afraid of it.He only put on 2,900 miles since 08.

I try to avoid a used bike unless I can determine the history of the bike. I've also found that new bike prices can vary dramatically when you are approaching a purchase with "cash in fist"...

2011 with 3000 miles from first owner, who was a guy in his seventies who passed away from a heart attack. He took very good care of the bike and I appreciate that he was able to enjoy it before he died. Cool somewhat philosophical story.

I bought my 06 for $4900, it had 32K on it. I am the 2nd owner. The original owner just commuted on the freeway so the suspension was set up horribly. That was the first thing I fixed.

2nd owner of a mint 07' with 4000 miles. Bike is in better than new condition, just one of numerous toys this guy had that he didn't have enough time to play with. Actually, I looked at four other 14's and all except one were mint condition and the other was in excellent condition. Seems like old 14' owners are much like Ducati owners... Nice to be on another big sportbike, after putting over 250,000 on my 89' FJ...

I personally don't buy used sport bikes, both of my 14's were still in the crate when I bought them.

I've gotten two different stories. The first one was just what you thought, and that it scared him and he brought it back. The second story from a different employee is that the guys brother brought it back next day pissed off that they sold the bike to his "mentally challenged" brother. Either way the dude paid $16,500 in cash, and it was traded in next day for what I can only guess was less than the $10,500 that I paid. Bike was flawless.

The ODO on my left-over 2013 literally showed 0 miles. I didn't have my camera, darn it.

Before this bike I had an '04 Honda RC51 I bought used in mid-'13 with about 11,000 miles on it. Honda discontinued the RC51 in '06 but I really wanted one so used was the only option. I "think" I was the 3rd or 4th owner, and while the bike was very nice (I'd say an 8.8 / 10) I never got over wondering what all had been done to it before I got it. Trust issues! That, combined with the RC51's extreme forward lean rider position, is why I decided to sell it and buy brand new. The RC51 is the first used sportbike I've ever bought, and will likely be the last. If I was a guy who liked spending lots of time wrenching on my bike, it would be different since I could satisfy myself that all is good ... but I'd rather just ride

There was two owners for my bike. Second owner only drove it around the block once. He said the bikes gas tank got in the way of his gas tank. 07 6030 miles and paid 10000 cdn.

Bought my 010 SE with just under 3500 miles from the second owner for S8,200.Bummer he lost the owners manuel but I still Love it!

None. I bought mine new in Dec of '06. Most likely will not be parting with it,unless it becomes mangled. LOL
