I may be crazy, but...

... I still make excuses to go out to the garage and just stare at my bike. I'm 42 for Heaven's sake!! When it comes to her I still act like I did in high school when I bought my GPZ 900! Its hard to describe to the uninitiated how fun and liberating a spin on the 14 is. She makes me all mushy and sentimental. I hate the thought of soon having to witerize and play the waiting game with the cold stuff.

Yep I go out to the garage and tinker with her all the time. I don't winterize though I ride all year long, I just bundle up good.

Good for you, heathun! I did the same too when I lived in Alabama. Except the few days a year it snowed. Not so much that it snowed, but southerners are dangerous on the road with even a light dusting of snow.

My ZX14 is not only winterized, but I won't ride it anymore as long as its for sale. Knowing my luck the first accident I've had in decades would be right before someone called me wanting to buy it. LOL.

I look at her, though, when I go to get the car. I'll miss her, but I need something more sedate now. Not slow. Just not so get up and go go go.

Same here. Still totally defaired except the tail and the head. T-boddies go in, battery, tank then back on the road a few more x b4 winter. Maybe I should ride this winter? We had a beautiful day today. Sunny and ~60 F. I don't realyy mind the cold all that much as long as the sun is bright.

I am fortunate enough to work out of my home. I have a nice office above my detatched garage, where I keep my toys (a M109, ford lightning, and my zx14). I look at them each morning when I go out to work. With temps in the mid 70's on today and tomorrow, it is hard to concentrate.

Every night I get on my zx14 and ride to work and park her in front of the window of my office and walk inside I don’t but clock in before I get that unmistakable urge to hop back on my ballistic bullet and let all my cares go away!
