Long ride
08/21/10 7:40 PM

Last week I rode from Danville IL to OKC and back which was about 730 miles. I've got Genmar risers and Buell pegs which made the ergos OK but the seat gave me monkey butt. after the first tank of gas. I ride mostly nutted up to the tank and was wondering what would be the best seat. I've read about the concours, sargent and Corbin seats but where I tend to sit and I have my girl friend on from time to time I need a flatter seat.

I just recently replaced my stock seat with a Concours and HOLY LORD what a difference. I wouldn't at all be afraid to go cross country now.

The slope of the stock seat does cause a passenger to slide down on the pilot. I have always heard a tribo seat is a great and inexpensive cure.

+1 on the Sargent seat, but a bit pricey. -bg
