I competely agree with Rook, Vic and Hub.
But...
If it were me I would just have to get that O ring out. No matter what the inconvenience was.
It would constantly play on my mind that something was not as it should be on my bike. I would always be thinking about it.
Once it was corrected I could relax again.
Unfortunately thats just me.
