First off, BG if there is a better place for this please move it.

I have 2 questions:

1. I used to get emails when I recieved PM's. Did I change something in my settings or did something else change? I have talked to a few members and we all wondered this.

2. Once I log in sometimes the board will show me not logged in after I post. Sometimes I only have to go to the bottom of a thread and click login then it stays, other times as soon as I change threads I am not again. Any ideas? WTS?

1. Something else changed. You used to get the message sent direct to your email. Now it is sent to your inbox here. More secure. You can still communicate with anyone via PM without giving out your email address. I like.

2. I have the same situation happen every time I need to log in. I log in and then the site asks me to log in....so I do it a second time and it works. IDK. Nice to log in just one time but just takes another moment. Seems like this was the routine a while back also.

Cookie setting on your side? If I never need logging on, it's a saved cookies that keeps the door open. What is your web browser... An updated windows internet explorer browser or say, try firefox that automatically saves the cookies when asked.

Same as HUB, never have to sign-in at any of my computers and I run recent ver. firefox. Only one to have IMO. Exploder can suck my balls for all I care.
Play around in your options menu and find somewhere it asks whether or not you want it to remember passwords and stuff. The email changed on this site but not the log-ins.

Ok, I am on a different computer then usual and it had me do the double login like Rook was talking about.

Rook, I hear you on the not giving out info, but a notification would be great. I am not always logged in here because of this login thing I'm experiencing unless I'm posting. Therefore I don't see my PM count.

Hub and Edge, I don't have any of my passwords saved in my browser. I work in electronics and normally use my work computer. The guys I work with will crack main passwords faster then I can get out of the parking lot. I don't want people in my stuff. Once I login to any account it should stay logged in till it hits a time-out, I log off, or close the window sometimes depending on system.

Yep... for the last couple weeks... Started right after I changed my antivirus software, so I thought it was just my computer.
