25 here tonight and I took a 45 minute ride. Parked the busa outside for 4 1/2 hours and came back. It was frosted up but it started fine. Not to cold coming back tonight except my fingers and throat got cold and my face shield frosted up. Got a lot of looks from cagers and pedestrians.

27 degrees and no wind which means I get to stay in my lane more. I did wear the thinsulate hoodie and glove liners which make a big difference. I am also still riding the beemer with the bavarian Bunn Warmer and heated grips. If you put them on high it gets almost warm then you turn them on low and all is fine.

bean07, are you talking Celsius or Fahrenheit? I believe that we are all talking Fahrenheit. If you are talking Celsius (33*C and 35*C is around 91*F and 95*F) then it was a rather warm day for you in the land 'down under'. Enjoy the season! is it Spring or Summer for you? We are in late Fall above the equator so I guess it is late Spring for you.
I rode in to work yesterday and today. The first time in two weeks. When the temp drops below 20*F, I don't ride...much. Wait, I thought that I was in the desert, it's not cold in the desert...RIGHT! This morning it was a nice 29*F, last week and early this week it was around 19*F (-7*C for bean07)

WOW, only 4 days into summer. Our winter starts in 17 days or so.
Yup, cold in the morning but very nice fall days. The temp in the afternoon will be around 65*F then drops to the overnight low of 25-30*F, which is average. I too have very hot summer months, on average its 105*F and cools off to 80*F at night. Now that's some great night riding weather!

Several years back when I started riding again after the early mid life time away from bikes, I was like that. Rode all the time, even down into the twenties, not anymore. Fair weather rider now, maybe down into the upper 50's, but that's about the limit. Gets colder than that and I switch full time to the dirt bike.

Yup, been around there for a while now. The Org has been kinda bland here lately so I haven't been on there much. Of course, my bike has been wrecked for 3 months now, so I haven't had much to talk about anyway.

I think the beemer may be starting to have a battery problem which is still covered by warrenty so next week when it is 20 or so in the morning I have my choice between the 14 and the wifes Honda 919. Probably gonna be the 14 since it has some wind protection.
That is gonna hurt riding a ricer to work since I have had so much fun telling the ricers at work that since I got the beemer I realised they were less than 2nd class riders because of their ricers. I even offer to let feel the warmth on my butt from the heated seat.
I have to much fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Gotta be tough, not being able to ride, with that kinda weather. Just make that first time back in the saddle that much sweeter though, huh?

Well mid forties and no wet roads so I will ride. Rode today got to say those that don't ride in the cold above freezing that is are missing out on some good riding. People think its cold well you don't ride in your car without the heater right. Same on the bike I have electric power and love it second season with it heated liner and gloves. It takes a little longer to get geared up but while riding at all speeds and even colder at higher altitudes I'm warm. Set it up with a gerbings controller mounted on the tank so just like the car if I need more or less heat just dial it in. The only area I'm a little not decided is the suit right now I'm using my leathers and rain jacket/pants for wind breaker. I figure the leathers give me the same protection as summer. Not sure about a cold fabric suit.
