This sounds like the real deal, the U.S. version will get a 750 rpm redline reduction in order to pass EPA noise regulations.
May not be as bad as we had imagined as most of those last rpms are for over rev on the track and have little to do with peak HP. They're saying maybe a loss of 10 ponies compared to the Euro version so that should still be good for about 170 HP at the wheel.
