Well, im brand new to the forum, but not to riding. Ive owned MULTIPLE racebikes streetbikes,and been part of some big M/C clubs. I stopped riding in Aug of 03 when I saw my friend die on a bike doin some pretty stupid stuff. I vowed to never ride again. I even moved from the city. Im older and wiser now and I have this itch. 2 of the many bikes I've owned were the Blackbird, and zx11. I'm wanting somthing like those. Why not get the baddest one made? The 14...
So my Qstion is this, Do I wait for a maybe newer 2012? Or do I take advantage of the 1.9% for 60 months on the recent 2011. I'm glad to be here and hope to have a 14 sooner than later. Also, I dont know many people in the area I just moved to and looking for fellow riders in the Northern Ca area. Thanks all...

For the money, I rather hammer out the latest. Plus, you'll be the envy of the forum. If the interest rate is more tying your hands, then buy all means, bye the slower bike.

The slower bike! Thats seems funny, especialy that we really dont know how much faster the new one is. Kawi is also giving $1250 rebate... Makes the slower one $3-4k cheaper

At $3-$4 K cheaper, thats a lot of Mods on the runout one!! Yeh if ya can afford it, it will have some great safety features such as ABS / K-Trac & maybe some styling cues,IMO im just starting to ride again as of yesterday since June 14 last year (smashed my R/H Femur & Pateler) but for me after buying mine here @ $19 K + $4.5 K on my lay off Mods & the runout here at $16700 now,concider my ZX1400 has only 5380kms on her nowStuff the Safety im not gunna sell mine just fer that

If I had enough money, I'll go for the latest, it'll be more refine and you'll have the cool factor like Hub suggested. She prob gna run cooler, have more hp and weight less and that's worth more than $3000. Go read around. You won't find a more reliable bike than the 14. Another thing; you'll pay premium if the dealer is only allotted a few bikes. The leftover is still a bargain being new and no mods to refine or chase down another combination. Stock works well if you are slowly coming back.

Yea, I think the deals will always be there for these models, heck there are even 2010's still on showroom floors.

Buy which ever one you want. It will still be great. I'm in the N Cal SF Bay Area .
