Both hands, the toes on one foot and still counting. That's the crash fest so fart. Being on a bike for over 50 years, you've got more to come or you're not enjoying the sport enough. As long as you remount... Welcome to the exclusive club. No dime wasted up the nose, down the lungs, or pissed away, but poured back into the sport or why get out of bed.
Battle with brain: Takes 100% concentration to get on one of these no matter the size or stay off it.
Sheetime: Blood covering the lost dermis layers burned off by the high speed get-offs, you're under the sheets for months at a time; you can't bend the knees, elbows kind of healing. Pain is part of the pleasure or this sport is not for you.
Busted Bones: Goes with the sport.
Bent Bike: Wallet cures the withdrawal feeling you get once the ride is in a wad. That feeling does not linger, this sport is not for you.
OFF MY...
Condolences, pred. Red cracked me up, but it too goes with the sport you expose yourself out in the public. What I like to challenge is the speed vs. the shaved down part. Maybe 40 or less or the street's speed limit like 30? So between 30-40mph. How close am I? Stop at the 53 second mark. Tire wise, are we cranked over tire wise? Chicken stripes are somewhat narrow. Tire reading here on my end is looking for a rain groove that has a higher peak point than its opposite other side of the rain channel. So more read it like a worn, I'm not about to hang it out with the feathering that high, that worn, nor taking it to the chicken carving point around turns; is that puppy spent. Same goes for the front tire's step reading. Once you see those, you just make the centers burnout to extend the life of the tire, because the front is done as well. Remain riding upright and don't go near the coop. Then again, what do I know.
Signed,
NOLTT (no one likes tire talk)

I'd like to hear the back story about what is going on between you and "BigRed1"
As for me, my mama always used to say, "Forrest, there are 3 types of riders.
1. Those that have gone down
2. Those that are going down
And
3. Those that are going down...AGAIN."

TDS?...
Glad yer okay.I understand about 'things' gettin in yer head while riding.Totalled my 2012 taking a curve I've done a zillion times and wrecked badly.Mom passed away a month or so later. It was rough.Had a 'break' in caring for her.Decided to take a ride(which I hadn't done for well over a year).Totally lost my focus in that turn.
Lost a kidney, tore my spleen.Compound fracture on left ankle.Cracked ribs.Concussion.In a coma 2 weeks.Luckily she was in the hospital when this happened.I got out in a month, just as they were releasing her.It all worked out.
I think the motor was still okay...but the rest...mangled.Hit a boulder doin about 40mph.

I'm not surprised, I think your a total screw up. Just ask Mommy to buy you another one.You screwed up the last one,and she helped you get this one. Hang up your helmet before you die.
i hope this is a joke if not what the hell is your problem?
my gen 1 shot a rod - i did NOT screw that one up
i make good money and well into my adult years so the comment about my mommy buying me my bikes was stupid. what are you in high school? clearly tried to make a failed attemp at an insult red or whatever your name is.
fell on my new bike- happens to the best of us given conditions and situtations
heang up my helmet before I die?- Please don't send that vibe my way. if you dont like me for what ever reason you are free that but keep that to yourself. I dont joke like that and wasnt wanted or acceptable behavior from you. grow up!

Been down a few times. Ok, a little more than a few times but I have been riding over 40 years.
I get too much out of riding to stop. I don't know if that makes me wise or stupid. Either way, it's irrelevant...
Glad you are ok and you bike has suffered minimal damage.

Always bad news reading about anyone going down. Glad you’re OK. All that fancy plastic on the 14 is expensive. Even a fall from the side stand can be £££/$$$. I’ve had 3 offs on the road recently, fortunately while out on the dirt bike so virtually zero damage. Pick it up, start it and ride off. Cold damp roads + knobbly tires are not a good mix.

Glad you are still kicking... The fairings are hell for cost I had $7200 into mine with all the little brackets and clips and ram tunnels etc. it was crazy for a light swipe on the front right corner. Took 2 months to get some pieces from Japan because we couldn't get them stateside. Good luck with the rebuild!
