Hi guys. I'm pretty excited to have gotten a few of my mods finished off. My bike is starting to take on some of the little touches I like to make. Some are quite subtle while others are more obvious. They include the slip-ons (obviously), powder coated satin black heel plates and custom made number plate carrier & bracket, ZX10R foot pegs front and rear, replaced rear axle split pin with lynch pin, chopped rear fender and raised number plate (still have the fender eliminator to go on yet), Zero Gravity DB screen with black alloy screws & rear seat cowl (complete with decals). I still have a bunch more to do, but hey it's a start, and it all takes time. I absolutely love the sound of the new Yoshimura slip-ons.

In my case...the growl is fine...the screeching is what gets me;)And these DO screech on throttle app.

Screeching, growl all of this visceral magna flow gets me to full mast.
The only dampening I had accomplished with the bike is my relationship with my neighbors. Hahahahahahahahahaha

Hey Wolf... there's another funny saying over here too. When someone says that, we'd follow that with "and ass-holes seldom differ". rofl
It's seeming like we have very similar tastes in mods. Are you tapping into my brain, or I yours? Looking at your list is like we're almost going to be twins, only with a few slightly different touches here and there. I like your rear rotor too.
When you fitted the Yoshies, they say to leave the pillion heel plates (heat diffusers) off. I noticed they don't fit over the new brackets and washers. I was going to pack mine out with washers and re-fit them. How did you get yours to fit back on?
I noticed you flipped your axle over too. What's the reasoning behind that if I may ask?

Yes, the noise inserts came with the slip-ons. I have actually fitted them on mine. I prefer them a little on the less in-your-face side, but they still emit a very pleasing howl when you punch the go button. The law just loves loud pipes over here, which is insulting given that the usual straight through blat blat blat of the Harleys gets completely ignored.
Stay tuned for progressive updates. I've got a bunch of things still coming, or just waiting for me to fit them.

decibel killers, i prefer going unnoticed,id like to lighten the bike a little, and let it breathe some, but i dont want everybody in a 10 mile radius know when i coming, not many bikes around me, people tend to complain when you frighten the life outta them as they lazily wander about

Hey Lumiera. Nothing special there dude. They're just the stock ones. You don't mean the lynch pin I got through the axle instead of the split pin do ya?
