How many miles did you get out of the stocker? I think the stock clutch on the 14 is awesome. If you're a racer, you may want to upgrade.

16k Miles on the stock. Some say Barnett others say Cycle Concepts Drag Pak but most say Muzzy's clutch. Muzzy also has a stock replacement clutch.

I would get stock replacements and add springs or spacers, call it done.

We've tried several aftermarket clutches but have reverted back to the stock discs every time. There has not been an aftermarket set we've tried to date that had the feel and slidability of the stock discs on the launch without chatter. Though this sounds counterproductive, if you're drag racing, go with the stock discs. Just my opinion of course but there's a little experience backing that opinion up.

Let start by saying I've never dragged my ZX but did a ton of track days on it. When mine started to slip I went with Brocks springs and ordered new stock plates after doing some research. (Figured if Brock and other drag guys couldnt kill stock stuff I wouldnt either.) As it turned out my 35,000 mile plates were well within specs and I only needed the better springs. Soooo, check what you got first and just order new ((better) springs. The stock plates are tough.
