Super interested, my concern is that the bottom half with side fairings are black vs what kwak advertises in all of the photos... I asked the dealer about this and said there were 2 different versions of the orange bike shipped to the US. Anybody heard anything about this? My only thought is that it was a decal and the person took it off, or replaced with black plastics to avoid road grime on bottom chin fairing...

IDK...I've not heard of a 2 version SE in Orange.Hmmmm...there's several mods on that bike as well.It looks beautifully taken care of....but the different bodywork is making me wonder.Those ram duct covers for instance...gloss black.I've never seen Gloss black covers.OR...the black headlamp decals....hmmmm.Could be...that bike was in an accident...IDK?

You better step back a bit and do some research here.I just looked on the net for the SE orange.NOT ONE pic of anything looking like yours(his).I think that dealer may be tryin to pull a fast one on ya.Orange Wheels?I couldn't find any.That mid and lower fairing could easily be from an 07 Diablo Black.Same with that rear seat cowl.IDK.If ya can pin him down on some of the finer details about the bodywork and stuff,maybe he has a clearer answer other than "they made two versions"....I couldn't find any.

I asked for a car fax and he said that wont be a problem... what really sucks is the bike is about 250 miles away... costing me 150$ just to bring my bike there to go look at the 14.... big pain if it turns out to be fubar... Heres what im thinking:
Guy buys a 2009 ZX14 ( Monster maybe )
Decides he wants orange... dumps money into powder coating the rims and some orange plastic

Not gonna lie, i like it... if car fax comes back clean... aslong as everything looks kosher... i'll probably go for it.

Nice looking bike - just looks like the standard 2009 SE bike with some pcs done in different than stock colors i.e. (seat cowling, lower fairing pcs, front fender, and wheels orange). See picture below:

Looks like instead of trading my bike in, it's sold locally... this gives me the option to search out some more ZX14's vs buying from a stealership... But this one is still at the top of my list... below book value!
