I traded my 2010ZX14 for a 14R, mine only had just over 5,000 kays on her plus I spent quite a bit on her for the nearly 2 years I was off (shattered r/h femur & patella) fortunately for me & my wife we hit a wallaby doing around 100kmph on the east coast of our Tassie holiday back in march this year,I went into SA Bikes for the minor damage to it and left with their demo ZX14r she had only 1900kms on her $17k on the road

One of the nicest bikes I've ridden, very smooth, very grunty and so easy to ride. Been off the bikes for a few years, last one was a busa, and I'm reckon I'll be working on the hero blobs tomorrow lol

Has anyone had trouble with the brake hose lining starting to rub on the inner fairing from to lever.

No worries thats Dean07 good to see some of us from ozzie down under.
I took the inner guard off to put on a radguard on the radiator so I was thinking that I could loosen the screws and move back across. It is only just rubbing on the hose so that might be the problem it was not rubbing before that when I have a look back on things.

gday, what octane fuel/brand are others using in OZ? I usually run vortex 95 however got a tank of mobil95 and could hear some detonation when accelarating aroung 100 kmh, could have been crap fuel as had same happen on my 08 model different servo though.

Also first service, are people doing it themselves or taking it to dealer? My 08 i done all servicing however dealer said must bring to them for 1000kms service

I use BP 98 where possible, but I'm a half deaf old bastarge so dont hear anything!
