New T-shirt Project
06/03/12 2:02 PM

Everyone that posted to the t-shirt thread that Black1 started (but never finished) .... are you still interested?

Are there any changes you'd like to see made?

I can take the small jpegs and send them to the graphic artist COG uses and she can re-do them from scratch and either make it an exact match, or we could change it slightly.

I'm open to any and all comments and suggestions.

It looks like the price on high quality t-shirts with the graphic would be $35-40 depending on size, and that includes the cost of setup on the screen printing machine. Once the original setup is done, we could do a second run at a later time a little cheaper.

What do you think?

Privateer,

Thanks man good looking out but after reading the tread over again it was a good idea at 1st. but then it lost traction to no fault of my own and I don't feel that we would have many people wanting them at this point but I could be wrong.

I responded to some people who PM me, an hit some others up to see if maybe we could put a small group together. So we will see but I think you said it best the project has become "prophetic"

I'm making 2 designs for 2 local bike shops. One is for a ZX14r and I'm working on a ZX14r design for myself that I would share with my fellow ZX14r brothers.

I know it seems like I'm flip-flopping but I' am it's how I feel about this project sometimes when I reread this thread.

I'm currently looking for the vectored file now.

Let's see who bites...

I am interested. I like THIS design. Or maybe you can remove the "headlights" and use the Ninja ZX-14 Forums graphic in the pocket area.

NOT this one.

Count me in, They all look great. Would you be happy shipping them to OZ ?

The only change i would like to see is maybe a ZX-14R logo and picture with the forum name ?

I would still take one of each as they are :)

I like it without the headlights, making option 1 and 3 the same shirt.

I don't even own a ZX14 anymore but I'd buy one if large enough sizes are available.

If I had the artwork, it would be done by now. I don't care about setup fee, its not enough to worry about. So if nobody buys one then I could rag on everyone for weeks, it would be worth it.

You wouldn't be able to rag on me, because I would get a couple and I know some others who would also. The large headlight array design is a bit much, but I could live with it. I like the smaller front logo and the round logo for the back. Nothin' wrong with black either, although a color close to Candy Plasma Blue would be good, too! I would change the sleeve printing to say "Fastest bike on the planet" rather than "best"

I'd be in for a couple. I do also like the smaller headlight design on the front, or just the logo. and agree, it should say fastest bike. or maybe even most powerful. lol.

I keep hoping Black1 will send me the high resolution .jpg files (at worst) or the vector (CNC screen print) files.

That would knock a month or more off the process, and reduce the cost of the shirts.

I'll see what is up when I get back from the COG National after the 20th of June.

Since I'm not doing anything to design the shirts, I can't be choosy. I would like any of the above designs in a L or XL. How much?

No Danno I was not trying to get someone else to do another shirt. Like I said I'm doing a shirt for a local dealer and they told me to go on Kawiforum.com cause they saw a design there that they liked. I was just looking for some ideas that's all.

Privateer,

I can't give you something I can't find. I've been looking for my copy and even tried reaching out to a few people I asked to print the shirts the first time but they have not gotten back to me yet.

I really felt that no one wanted the shirt after re-reading the thread but now I see that I was wrong. Funny it seemed to me that you and couple of people were saying that you would not buy the shirt anyway but that's OK it was a long time ago I understand no big deal. Now I see this project has new life I will make some more moves to make it happen.
